IF youŽre here to inquire about my sharpening services for straight razors you may contact me at glen@procis.net

Briefly,  This website will be dedicated to my love of "wet shaving".  I love to restore and shave with straight razors.  I do restorations and sharpenings, as well as make my own strops, soaps, and even mugs occasionally.

I donŽt intend to restrict this site to straight razors as others in my family still enjoy DE (double edged) razors, the old flip tops that became so popular during WWII.  My late father in law, God bless his soul, a WWII pilot, shaves with the DE razors but would love when I gave him a straight razor shave.  In honor his honor I will add links and supplies for both DE and straight razors and try my best to be a help to those on a budget.  Wet shaving should not be a rich manŽs luxury, neither should straight razor shaving.

I got started into straight razors for less than $100.00 and you can too, including nice soaps and brushes for wet shaving.  If youŽre a daily shaver, then over the course of time, if you stick with straight razors,  I think youŽll find yourself saving as much as $200.00 or more per year in shaving supplies. Even if you choose a DE over a straight, you can still save well over $100.00 yearly on shaving supplies versus disposable cartridges and disposable razors.
